About the role

Key responsibilities of the role include supporting the participant with their personal care needs, encouraging their involvement within the community and assisting them to achieve their goals. 

To be successful in this role

• Genuine desire to provide the best quality care for people with disabilities.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with participants and their families.
• Initiative and drive to work independently and also as part of a team.
• Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable/registered and insured vehicle.
• Working with Children Clearance Number.
• Cleared Criminal Record Check obtained within 12 months.
• Current First Aid Certificate if required.
